NOTHING WRONG with Ray LaMontagne. He and his band delivered exactly what we expected. Sarah Ferrel was an added BONUS. What an angel!
Both acts were "low volume, coffee house" acts...and that's beyond cool. The problem, as I see it, is that either that room is too big, even when sectioned off to half capacity.....OR the FOH crew couldn't find the volume knob. The latter is more likely. It was as if we were chauffeuring our mom in the car and keeping the volume just below comfortably audible.
You guys can do better. I've seen you do it.
